How...I agree with Annie that a slip can do wonders. However, if you're hoping to replace the beloved Lollipop skirt, have you thought of knitting one? You could probaly take your skirt to a good local yarn store and they could help you draw up a pattern for it and everything. Sewing can be fun, but I'm much more enthusiatice about knitting:consumes less space while making a project, you get to cutomize, etc.Kateyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13044450455061450338noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6567381062471103610.post-69901919492998172492009-04-25T04:06:00.000-07:002009-04-25T04:06:00.000-07:00From here, on the other side of the computer scree...From here, on the other side of the computer screen, I think the skirt looks great! But it makes me happy that I'm not the only person who has a hard time sewing knit material. We had a YW activity the other week, and I brought my machine to help the girls sew pajama pants. Mary Hendricks brought a knit material though, and we had the hardest time trying to avoid peaks in the material. She had to take a half-finished project home because we didn't have time to rip out the seams and try again.

If you ever learn a secret for hemming knit material, let me know.

P.S. The skirt looks comfy, though! :)Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07370280816918006020noreply@blogger.com
