It was a good mother's day.
Emma made her first appearance at church, following which the boys walked home. So cute in their suits.
Then the piece de resistance

Yes it was as fancy as it sounds. It took Tyson more than eight hours over the course of two days (not including the three hours of scavenger hunt grocery shopping trying to find all the ingredients) to make it. He even figured out how to cold smoke the lamb with a make shift smoker. I am sincerely sorry that I didn't take any pictures of that process. Oh, and make sure to take note of the prettiest flower ever. My "daisy" picked especially for me by Ben.
After stuffing ourselves silly on gourmet morsels we visited the cows....
...And had mini photo shoots. Both kids were very accommodating. I think maybe dad gave them a heads up to the whole mother's day thing. Usually the camera is their cue to run away/cry/make faces/spit up.
This is a little blurry, but I think there's not much sweeter then a dad with his baby.
